Cancellation and Refund Policy – ​​Osa Birders Tours At Osa Birders Tours, we strive to offer unforgettable birdwatching experiences. To ensure smooth logistics and secure bookings with our specialized guides and accommodation providers, we apply the following policy: # 1. Cancellations by the Client One-Day Tours (Early Morning, Half-Day, Full-Day) More than 48 hours before the tour: A 100% refund of the amount paid (minus any applicable bank transaction fees) will be issued. Between 24 and 48 hours before the tour: A   50% refund of the total amount will be issued. Less than 24 hours before the tour or No-Show: No refund will be issued. Multi-Day Packages or Tours with Accommodation / Ecolodges30 days or more in advance: Refund of  90% of the deposit or total payment. Between 15 and 29 days before the date:** Refund of 50% of the total package amount. Less than 15 days before the date: No refund will be issued, due to the booking and cancellation policies of the ecolodges and partner providers. #2. National Park and Reserve Entrance Fees > Important Note: Tickets or entrance fees for National Parks (such as Corcovado National Park, Carara National Park, etc.) or private reserves purchased on the client's behalf are non-refundable and non-transferable, in accordance with park authority regulations. If the booking already included the purchase of such tickets, this amount will be deducted from any applicable refund. ### 3. Cancellations Due to Weather Conditions or Force Majeure * The safety of our clients and guides is our priority. If a tour is cancelled due to extreme weather conditions or natural emergencies that prevent the activity from taking place safely, the following options will be offered: 1. Rescheduling the date at no additional cost. 2. A credit for 100% of the tour value, valid for one year. 3. A full refund of the tour fee (excluding park entrance tickets that have already been issued). ### 4. Changes and Rescheduling * If you wish to change the date or time of your tour, you must submit a request at least 48 hours in advance for day tours and 15 days in advance for multi-day packages. Changes are subject to the availability of our guides and accommodations.
